Monthly Highlights: April 2024 – Solar Eclipse, Cancun, and New Tools
April 2024 was an eventful month filled with exciting travel adventures, a rare celestial event, and some great new tools I discovered. Let’s dive into the highlights!
Total Solar Eclipse in Austin, TX: A Once-in-a-Lifetime Event
- On April 24th, I had the incredible opportunity to witness a total solar eclipse from Austin. Watching the sky go completely dark in the middle of the afternoon was an otherworldly experience. It’s not something you see every day, and it's a memory that will stay with me forever
Exploring the Field of Bluebonnets in Texas
- Every year, Texas parks bloom with vibrant bluebonnets, and this year was no exception. The field of flowers was breathtaking, and it seems to get better each spring.
Cancun, Mexico: Visiting the Ancient Wonder of Chichen Itza
- In April, I visited Cancun and made my way to Chichen Itza, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. With this visit, I’ve now seen 3 out of the 7 wonders. Cancun also marked my first trip to Mexico, and it was an unforgettable experience!

Tools I came across
